that one got me good the first time I saw it. I really thought those missles were gonna launch and blow you to hell as you were lighting your flare..COD's like to kill people off dramatically, maybe with a pilot screaming because he realizes it too late..but then it was okay, and I felt a great surge of relief..they really did a great job making these games cinematic :D

Good thing I bought some snacks yesterday for something like finishing this walktrough. Not many games have you retake the White House from the enemy that's for sure.

0:34: Not a surprising sight, the White House, but it should still give goosebumps. 2:50: This better not be an F-15. 3:01: Hammerdown Protocol?! NO, DON'T DO A CLOVERFIELD!!!! 3:09: I still remember, in another universe, Justice Lord Superman murdering President Lex Luthor in this very room. 4:15: Ah, the media room. Good thing some red tie named Donald will never step foot on it in this universe. From the wiki: "As the countdown timer goes to 60 seconds before the White House is destroyed, the player will enter a room that has the stairs that will lead to the next floor. If the player turns left and looks on a wall, he can see a stenciled graffiti of a nuclear mushroom cloud with the words "Death to USA" on it." Playing the Rangers multiplayer defeat theme for the final fight is just plain sadistic. However, playing the victory theme during the Michael Bay's The Rock love letter flare scene is quite genius. 6:51: Eagles Fly Free! 7:01: Truly a prime example of an "Aborted Arc", come MW3 2011. Team Metal and the war on Europe just doesn't feel the same. And speaking of MW3, the mission "Dust to Dust" shows off a cutscene news outlet of "Whiskey Hotel" being rebuilt.
