Poor Jericho had a car land on his head, made to wait around while he missed out on all the fun, then had mines blow up in his face. This wasn't a good day for him! Also, that music in the deathclaw cave really helped to set the mood.

It was already too easy on my own. I should've brought him in for an extra challenge keeping him and the dog alive.

*(reads title)* Not a sanctuary anymore. Not that they won't unforgivingly fight for it to the end. 1:20: Phlegm. Found a campground and a nearby church of the olden days. I'll feel sorry for the good souls there who never made it. 4:17: Kriff! 4:28: He is. It's just that nothing's challenging anymore... unless... ah. That explains going to the Sanctuary. 6:26: They're just simple giant molerats, m'guy. Dodging that Mr. Gutsy is really just like dodging fast Doom Imps, Hell Knights, ans Barons of Hell. 9:32: And believe me, if I ever did Lone Wanderer runs, I won't hire you. Lotsa mines readied here. A record for this run. 14:05: This place really needed to be quite generous. 22:33: Mine madness for Jericho. 'Nuff said. 22:57: Unfazed? Me disappointed.

wasn't sure wh you left 50 tons of explosives outside...then "oh...oh I see" good plan! also love thjis cave, the atmosphere is so good with hte varied corpses of..damn near anything and everyone who got to close. and loots strong too! :D

Must be nice knowing you are entering a Deathclaw cave... A thing one other cave in New Vegas doesn't mention alongside the fact you will be ambushed once you perform a tactical retreat... Good thing I had enough 12.7 ammo for the bastards outside... Enjoy your victory over the clawed menace.

Luckily you can cripple Deathclaws with mines so they just limp at you. I will say though, I did miss the dart gun in NV for that reason alone.

The Survivalist's Rifle really helped when it came to that for me. That and having Arcade and ED-E as distractions.

@@Arkaskas1 Deathclaw, overlord, Reavers... Don't matter. Jack just shreds even on very hard mode if you have high melee and high crit chance. It's even more busted if I use drugs and the ninja perk.

@@StarMarshal You are right, it's just that Deathclaws do ridiculous amount of damage and push you back. Overloards have a tendency to get staggered easily making it much better against them. It does broken damage though that weapon since it has regular crit multiplier and attacks several times a second when it connects.

@@Arkaskas1 what makes it pretty much the only viable melee weapon against a desthclaw is the 5x limb damage multiplier. Multiple cripple animations will stagger it long enough to kill it.
