I’m British born living in Australia and things have deteriorated here too, but I don’t believe we are not quite as far down that slippery slope as the uk. We have a general election next year and I can’t see Albo getting a second term especially as his government have taken their eye off the immigration ball making the infrastructure really struggle and we now have our capital cities being up there as some of expensive places in the world to live. Starmer is making a right pigs ear of running the country , so many problems in so many areas. The greed and hypocrisy is unbelievable. And there’s no general election for at least 4 years. Are the Brits going to allow this arrogant decline to continue without a fight? Tony abbot , a former PM said “British politics are toxic while Australian politics are brutal” I reckon that’s a spot on analysis. But I’m not sure which is worse!
