Kier Starmer is the king of cop out! He'll play and milk the blame card to the max when as an opposition they failed to hold the Tories to account for anything. Giving it like the mess they've inherited was an unexpected shock, get real! This is all a devious and strategic manipulation of circumstances, geared to letting itself off the hook whilst kicking the public financially and not giving a flying fig about some of its wildly skewed priorities.

In the manifesto for 2024 it's stated that hotel use for immigrants will be ended in favour of allowing them to work and pay tax, rather than them just sitting on their arses in the hotels not paying tax or working. Theoretically of course.

@chrysalis41262 ай бұрын
They are angry because the previous government sowed division by letting the backlog of immigrants get worse and worse, putting them in hotels instead of processing them and at the same time letting our services disintegrate knowing the immigration problem would get the blame instead of their underfunding. They spent so much money on contracts for their donor friends that every thing else was cut back including 20,000 police and we wonder why we have increased crime.

Labour getting their own back at the Conservatives for their speech in 2010 by Prime Minister David Cameron who said "the previous Labour government had refused to publish its own projections showing the escalating cost of interest. He argued that taxes should be spent on public services rather than paying interest on the national debt created by Labour". Also, an investigation conducted by Ministers of the then new Office of Budget Responsibility claimed they had found “black holes” in the budgets left behind by the outgoing Labour administration. Prime Minister David Cameron said there were signs of “crazy” spending decisions taken by Labour ministers in the final months of 2010 before they lost power. Fast forward 14 years and Labour is using precisely the same "story" as the Tories used :)

I would ring my local care and tell them I’m worried about the way I’m feeling and the things I’m thinking of doing and I’m told bring it up at your next meeting ( which is a non regular checkup) nhs 111 option 2 ( mental health) will just refer you back to your local service and let them know you’ve rang. Americans, lacking basic English vocabulary, have started this silly habit of using verbs as nouns, as in " the big reveal" , which should be the big revelation. You are not an American and neither are the majority of your viewers. Please speak English!
