It's been just over three months since the new Armaan and Ruhi joined the Rishta team. While the new Armaan is significantly better than his predecessor, 500% better, actually; the new Ruhi doesn't seem to fit the role. Her personality is quite childish and exuberant, which isn't the Ruhi we were initially introduced to. Moreover, her appearance, even adorned in the finest attire, jewellery and makeup, fails to captivate. In contrast, Pratiksha, despite her lack of acting skills, had a presence that aligned with Ruhi's character. She possessed an air of elegance and sophistication that resonated with the role. If only she had received more training before taking on the part, we might not be lamenting the casting choice for Ruhi's replacement, who seems less like a glamorous child from a wealthy family and exudes more ordinary, raised in a middle class family traits.
