Starr and Asa Have a Talk About Loyalty and Revenge

Asa always loved starr. Their was a scene when starr was a toddler & Asa & Jesse were babysitting her & Asa Said starr was his family. Jessica said " how do figure ?" & Asa said " well starr is your first cousin & I'm ur grandpa so that makes starr & I related through shared blood " it was so cute. He even said " I'd love to take this little lady away from Todd & Blair & raise her. This was early 98 it was a very interesting scene they sorta dropped but when Blair married max Asa became her surrogate grandpa so these scenes solidify the connection Asa had years back about starr. Maybe it was b/c he thought Blair was the worst & wanted her away from Blair & at one time Asa really liked Todd. He even testified for him to get starr away from Blair. Anyway love these 2

@@Mitsubachi2529 they were pretty hilarious when asa told Todd in 95 " we should make a club the survivors of Blair Daimler " Asa was also hilarious during his testimony ( willingly ) for todd against Blair. I lost it when he said about Blair " she is pure evil & crazy to boot !" Then he added " she comes from a long line of loonies " Dorian got up screaming " ur honor now I must object " then Asa looked at the judge pointing at Dorian like " see what I mean judge " it was hilarious& I love Dorian & love Blair only when she's with Todd particularly their purest as friends & the most " pathetic club " Sadly the writers made them enemies during Jill Phelps tenure as exec producer. Todd was writing headlines bashing bo in the sun during the Georgie Phillips murder. That story destroyed so much of oltl. Asa now hated Todd & vise versa Nora wound up sleeping w/ Sam they made Rachel a murderer Todd took everyone hostage even though he never knew Georgie & Kevin recast became dirty Harry & wanted to execute todd in front of like 15 witnesses. He also cheated on Cassie w/ that wacko nurse Barbara leading to Cassie getting shot & going insane & drew being killed off for good. Crazy how one year w/ a producer w/ her Rappaport agenda could destroy a show of 30 years. Oltl took lots of hits but they never recovered from that one.

@@nattyps3160 Asa was an amusing character! But one thing Asa never understood something about Todd. He totally didn't get that Todd would get furious with Blair but still keep badly wanting her in his life (all the way to 2013).

Phil Carey was a joy to work with on set. And i remember Robin Strasser saying how the original sarah Hayden something as a kid they all use to think.she was the most difficult kid to work with until Robin brought in her dog. Kristen Anderson got nothing but praise from OLTL cast.

I'd never seen a child actor get that many scenes that's how good she was. Yes erin torpey & eddie Alderson grew up on the show but starr literally got her own little storylines! Usually when their her age they are trotted out for weddings & christmas

Asa always loved starr. I watched a scene from a few years before this when Asa and Jesse were watching starr and he told blair he would love to get custody of starr and that she was practically a buchanan bc starr was Jessica's cousin and by extension that makes her a buchanan.
