I truly believe they intended to pay this story off and reveal Cole and Hope were still alive so they could have a Starr-Michael-Cole triangle (once Starr and Michael were established as a couple), but the Prospect Park folks threw a fit and forced GH to abandon all of the OLTL characters so the story never played out. Didn't they say the bodies were not recovered? Also, I think they had plans for the Tea's brother looks like Alcazar storyline that they couldn't play out because of the flap with PP

@tutefanfic That's what I keep thinking. If I were in her shoes (God forbid) I wouldn't even be saying Cole. I'd be sad about him, of course but my only thought would be that my child is dead. I wouldn't care who else was, the only one I'd be thinking about is my child.
