He is just naturally funny. My brother had him as a neighbor. Was often seen driving around on a moped. Someone would point and say "there's a celebrity!". Johan looked behind him and asked "Where?".

So to explain the wank thing. In Swedish, "vanka" means to pace back and forth (like if you're anxious or nervous). When Swedes don't know the English translation, we just try to "English:ify" the Swedish word and hope for the best (not that this works often :P). So vanka became wank XDD

Greetings from Sweden! I can confirm the part about the Danish. I love visiting Denmark, but when I visited Denmark with my then girlfriend, who is originally from Burundi, she was like "Ok, you do all the talking cause I don't understand danish." I was like: Got ya. I spoke english that entire vacation haha

Scandinavia is just Sweden, Norway and Denmark. If you also want to include Iceland and Finland, then we are talking about the Nordic countries.

@@starrlarh Scandinavia coms from Skanderna - a mountain string that goes under ground from south of Skåne and Denmark and then goes overground and makes mountains in the north. Skåne that Johan is from, is Scania in Latin and English and the word the Skands are named after. A thing regions in Sweden north of Skåne dont like and often think is a lie! it is not and it is a thing most Scanians are proud of. 😀 SAAB has the Grifin on the cars and Trucks. SAAB Scania - another thing none Scanian Swedes often dont like 😀 Yes Im Scanian ;-) A scanian never brag! We just say how it is 🙂 Love your laughter! 🙂

Should we be correct about which nation are Scandinvian countries then it's Sweden and Norwar and Finland since the name comes from the Scandinvian peninsular. But what the term actually is comes from is from Scandinvianism. Which I think is a studied ideology. The current is the nordic nations or Norden eller de de Nordiska länderna.

One thing you should know about the Swedes language is that we have many every day words that is derivide from the language we today call finish. Boy which is Pojke is from the finish language. Exempelvis känga (kenkä), pjäxa (pieksu) och pojke (poika) These word you woulf not find in the Norwegian language or Danish language. Whith out the finish language the Swedish language would not be the Swedish language.
@hencytjoe7 ай бұрын
Yeah, those are loan words. Whenever there's a gap in your own language and others have filled those, it's quite a common practice actually. We can play that game in reverse and you'll see hundred of examples from where the word is originally Swedish but in the Finnish language. Oh, and let me introduce German and French, which combined is more than half of the Swedish language. Finnish has influenced Swedish a little bit, considering they were the same country for 700 years, but saying it wouldn't be the same is a very grandios thing to claim.

Johan Glans have funny bones. He uses the non-macho approach about himself. That he have a body like schoolgirl and hes pale skin. people like him get very red in the sunlight. He turn trivial ordinary things into creat comedy. Sweden, Dennmark Finnland and Novway dont have the same lauguage. Swedish people have a saying that dannish people sound like that they, have a hot potato in their mouth when they speak. Finnish people is another story. Leif. Sweden. Keep the laugfter comming.
