This will be very interesting. Thank you, Natalia. If you haven't done a Diamond Dotz before, expect a lot of static in their drills. I pour them onto a dryer sheet and rub them before putting them in my containers.

I have done a few Diamond Dotz paintings, including Starry Nights, which was my first ever diamond painting, and never have any trouble with static.

@@janetpendlebury6808 I've heard several people talk about issues with static from Diamond Dotz. It may not be the case for all kits or maybe it has to do something with the temperature or humidity where you are? Not sure but I'll let you know if I have any issues! Thanks for watching ❤️

@@craftingwithnatalia I am in NSW Australia, not much humidity in the summer, but gets to over 40c and then down to -3 in winter. I really enjoy doing the Diamond Dotz canvass's, but they are rather expensive down here so only get them when they go on half price sale. The Van Gogh ones are delightful to do, I have done all of them and love them.

@@janetpendlebury6808 oh lovely to have an Australian subscriber! I spent a year in Australia and absolutely loved it! Maybe NSW climate is more forgiving to Diamond Dotz drills, I have no idea! I will try to work on my canvas soon and will let you know. I only had issue with static once but it was for Dreamer Designs kit. Only one of them so far, the other ones I worked on were fine. I try to get Diamod Dotz on sale too when I can but they are comparable to most other companies that license their artwork when I add the shipping costs to UK. At least Diamond Dotz I can get locally with free delivery.

I just finished finished Starry Night from DD. It's my first DP. The painting comes out looking exactly like the picture.

I did Diamond Dotz version of it. It is quite confetti heavy. Don't recall ab drills, but I sealed with glitter mod podge glossy and it sparkles quite well. I made it for my husband and he likes it quite a bit.

This is a very interesting comparison. I have the DAC one in my stash (yippie). They used to have a full cristal rhinestone version at Treasure studios art, but i don't know if they still have it. Love the Diamond Dotz version too. Have a wonderful day, Natalia 💖

Oh yes, I've seen the TSA one on your channel and as far as I know they still have it, though lately they seem to have removed a few artists. There's also a crystal one at Staroar I think, I may order one of them some time, just I've been taking a little break from ordering diamond paintings but I'm sure it won't last long! 😂

Yes liked this for comparison for the drills, as I have dotz drills and another brand of drills. Dotz has so much more shine to them compared to the other one

Yes, I agree - Diamond Dotz drills are amazingly sparkly, right? I feel that I can forgive companies a lot of other small imperfections if their drills are good quality. Thank you for watching! 💖

Hello! My second kit was the Diamond Dotz version and I didn’t have a light pad yet. I worked on it I. Small amounts as the colours were so dark and I didn’t know what I was doing. Thank you for the comparison as I might do it again using the DAC version. Seeing them side by side really shows the differences. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you work on them! I hope Diamond Dotz improves their printing as I think they may be a popular choice for beginners and it could put you off diamond painting. Glad you persevered and found other paintings that are a bit easier to work on! ❤️

I will give the Diamond Dotz version to a friend that has mentioned how much she likes it! Being extremely nearsighted makes me appreciate a lighter canvas! Don’t know how I did it without a light board…hahaha! I have a Diamond Dotz kit in my stash of a red barn. The canvas it a lot lighter coloured than Starry Night so happy about that. I got a diamond painting from DiamondDotz which was a painting by Monet. The original work was very pale however the diamond painting was very vibrant and it caught me off guard. I guess DiamondDotz wants to make the colors more fun to use! 💕

Yes, I think you're right. They're making these old master paintings more vibrant and more modern looking which makes them more fun to work on for a lot of people. I'd love to try their other paintings from artists like Monet one day. Hope you enjoyed yours! 😊

@@craftingwithnatalia Okay so the one I got was "London Parliament in Winter" (DD10.038) I was pretty fun, and had 2 AB drills! Oh and I think with DiamondDotz, the AB drills are listed last on the key.

I bought the Staroar Starry Night. It is a full crystal. My daughter wanted it, so I ordered one for her too. Then I ran across the Diamond Dotz Starry Night and bought it as well. I want to do a comparison of the two. Will be fun to see how all of them compare. Thanks for sharing. 💎💎🙂

The first 3 minutes of the video show the painting. I think it is beautiful. This was my first Staroar DP purchase. Hope this helps you decide if you want to make a 3rd comparison of the paintings. lol 😆
