Yes. Courtney Love. I used to work at a pretty famous bookstore in West Hollywood, and everyone who worked on the floor learned to hate that woman. She would come in and start pulling books from the shelves, taking one glance in them, and stacking them on the floor. She'd be there for an hour or two and leave stacks everywhere that we then had to spend time putting back. She was also rude to the cashiers. The bitchiest, most entitled person I ever ran into at that store, and we got a LOT of celebrities there, most of whom were decent people.

Met Tom Cruise when he was filming Rain Man. He was incredibly cordial. He stopped and spoke to everyone and signed autographs for 45 minutes on the street. His handler kept telling him he had to go but he ignored him. And I must say, he is even more handsome in person than on film. Who was rude was his co-star Dustin Hoffman. He walked past everyone on the street with his nose, literally, up in the air. Wouldn't even look at the people. He made it very clear that he was not to be approached!

Living in NYC I met quite a few celebrities but the rudest were Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah Winfrey. I was helping Oprah get ready for a a New York Road Runners race and she was nice as can be. But once she was finished with me I was dirt under her feet. When I saw how she treated me after the race, I let her know how I felt. Not that it made any difference but I lost all respect for her. It just showed how racist she really is because I am not black. Rosie was just rude. Most of the celebrities I met were nice.

I also heard something similar about Oprah. A basketball team was on her show and one of the players ran into Oprah and told her that they had met in another city. Oprah said, "Like I would really remember that," in a really rude way. Oprah had a point. She meets thousands of people but the basketball player was young and the comment really hurt her. Oprah could have been like everybody else and just pretended that she remembered the player. Someone on Oprah's show also told me that when the camera stopped Oprah didn't talk to anybody in the audience and completely tuned out until the camera started shooting again.

I know a singer who is said to be rude and has a bad rep, so I sort of expected that. However a bit weird he was actually pretty polite, I've known him for a few years. The weird part is that most people who talk sht about him have propably never had any contact with him. I guess that is the case with many people nowadays. Thankfully I'm no celebrity.

In a movie theater in Portland, Oregon, I saw Roger Daltrey, of all poeple. I told my friend, who is a big fan, and he said "no way". So I walked up to Roger and told him I had a bet with my friend that he was Roger Daltry and he said to me "Well, tell your friend you won the bet". We parted ways and I think he was grateful that I didn't go ape-shit. He even gave us a nod on the way out after the movie.
