I don't have as much of an issue with signing the papers to let your 16 year old daughter get married, I have more of an issue with letting the relationship begin AT ALL. If a 50 year old is interested in a teenager, it's either purely for sex, because women his own age see an issue teenagers don't, or both. If I found out my child was dating someone old enough to be their parent, I'd call the cops. And hell no to signing marriage papers. If it's true love it'll wait two years.

Trace and Brenda dated, from what I can gather, for at least 7 years, possibly more or less if you equate the time they spent broken up. He currently released a song about her called Brenda and explained it was a final goodbye, but that they were on good terms. A lot can happen in seven years of a relationship, especially when both parties are relatively famous. I don't think she's shady. If she really lied about a miscarriage, I doubt they would've gotten back together. Or he would've bothered to clarify that they're on good terms post-breakup.

They BOTH died of complications from pneumonia & the ONLY common denominator was her mother who she was supporting, but had recently decided to move away to start a family. Brittany Murphy's dad has been adamant about it and accuses his ex wife of having something to do with BOTH deaths. She apparently moved in with her son in law IMMEDIATELY after Brittany died and slept in the same bed with him. Nothin sexual but it seems to be more like having to watch his EVERY move. When he died under the same circumstances, it was understandable and perhaps could be explained. EXCEPT for the 6 MONTH time gap! Her mom was her beneficiary so she got everything... Brittany's dad said that she was goin to update her will and was gettin ready to move so she could get pregnant... A husband & children are definitely reasons to stop takin care of anyone else, so her dad is claiming the motive to have been the most common reason people murder their own family... Money. And she got it. So sad.
