Outstanding. Love the guitar part starting at 2:10. Dude was faithful to the feeling of the original while letting his own style shine through. And props to the keyboard player for deciding to keep some of those gorgeous piano licks that Nicky Hopkins played on Lennon's original (e.g., the brief lead-in to the guitar solo - 2:07). Bravo, Starsailor.

Wow...amazing. Actually, I thought Walsh wouldn't pull it off as his voice is so wonderful and can cover loads of ranges. I didn't think he'd pull it off in the register he sang, but he did. Brilliant cover of this beautiful song. I feel you did Lennon justice. By the way, I found it was recorded either Feb. 3, 2006 or March 2, 2005 (the dates could be backwards from the way we read it in the US)

These guys were meant to take on the world with Good Souls and Poor Misguided Fool, but Coldplay released Yellow and well... the rest is history. Now in terms of pure songwriting quality, Starsailor keeps delivering excellent songs, unlike the now completely plastic pop Coldplay.
