As a plane nerd, I was practically screaming at my screen when you repeatedly called the jet an F-15, even though Starscream, who transforms into an F-15, was right there and was clearly a different jet.

Doesn't "invasive" imply that they're here as a species to take over and spread, kind of like what the Symbiotes goal in Spiderman is? The Decepticons are invasive/invading. The Autobots want to protect from and stop the Decepticons.

They might do a crossover in the future like a mini-series but the PR won’t be incorporated into the Energon Universe. This will strictly be Void Rivals, G.I Joe and Transformers.

@@carlosquito3274 Mask and Rom went back to Marvel. I don’t think those other properties are going to be incorporated either even if they have the license. Kirkman made it clear this was G.I Joe, Transformers, and Void Rivals universe. Could that change in the future? Of course, nothing is certain when it comes to comics.

Honestly, I'm out. I don't like this series, any. I gave it a chance cause the Transformers franchise is my all time favorite, but I don't like this book. Just like the live action movies, which I've hated every single one, I don't want the Cybertronians on Earth and I really, really don't want yet another reboot. One of the best things IDW did was take the Transformers back to Cybertron. There are so many planets they could visit, there's so much of their story to tell, I don't want another book where useless humans are put in it just so people can have someone that looks like them to relate to. I want a Transformers book that is about the Transformers. And it's not supposed to be hundreds of years, it's supposed to be millions that they've existed and been warring. There were two things I liked about the comic so far, when Starscream shot Bumblebee's face off and that he keeps squishing humans, like he would in reality. So I will say there's that.

You're entitled to your opinion, comics are subjective. I will say though its too early to pass judgement on a series, I would at least give it a chance until the end of the first arc. Also, they shouldn't do what IDW did. They're going back to the roots of the show, which yes had been done before with Marvel and Dreamwave Transformers. At least this time though they're building a vast universe around the Transformers, have a focus on character development, and telling a unique story of the Transformers on Earth.

@@GoBeyondComics Yeah, but that's the problem, it's on Earth. I don't want it on Earth. I want a Transformers comic about the Transformers. I don't want humans in it at all. I want stories set on Cybertron or in space. I really enjoyed the last IDW reboot that was going on, the pre-war and beginnings of the war story. I wish that could have continued. For everyone that likes this, have fun with it, but I'm not giving something a chance that I know I don't like.

Your call, but his other work like Wonder Woman Dead Earth and Murder Falcon was all well worth sticking with, in spite of reservations I had with some of the writing. Daniel Warren Johnson is no hack, he's the real deal. But it takes more then one or two issues to really get to the goods.

@@docsavage4921 It's not his writing skill that's the problem I have. It's exactly what I said in my post. I DON'T want the Transformers on Earth. I DON'T. I'm so tired of them interacting with humans again and again and again. It could end up being an amazing story, but I don't want to read it cause I'm sick of humans having to be in every single iteration. These are millions, if not billions of years old (depending on the continuity) sentient, super advance, gigantic, robotic, alien life forms. They have the ability to travel the cosmos. I want them either on Cybertron or in space. If Image starts up a comic where either of those are the case then I'll gladly check it out, but not another redone, human centric story. Which yes, that is what this has already shown it is. The fist page was all humans. I don't care about human problems in my Transformers comics or movies. That's why I've been done with the movies ever since the second one came out years ago. I love the Transformers franchise. I collect the figures, I've read most of the comic series by other companies. I have an Autobot tattoo. I just don't want another set on Earth story. For anyone that's down with it, I hope you enjoy it. This one just isn't for me.
