Come to think of it, for as long as I can remember Starsector *already did* have a ship built with an ideology of "flying brick with ridiculously oversized weaponry pointing at the front". It's called the Mudskipper Mk2. Turns out pirates had the right idea, just the execution was horrible.

You should see this thing with 4 omega redacted autopulses, it becomes Ludd’s a-10 anti shield warthog. It’s horrifically impractical cause it doesn’t count for the ballistics hullmod and costs the full 30 op, but my god

I mean it's the Onslaught's predecessor, just with greater emphasis on frontal firepower. Give it a niche that takes advantage of its kill zone, and it can slaughter fleets like a Paragon without the tankiness of one.

This is one of the new Luddic Church ships, the dev blog explains how they work. If my memory is right, the ablative armor is basically an extra hull and doesnt have nearly as much damage reduction as normal armor. Also, no shields.

The ablative armour hullmod makes it effectively 1000 armour but it takes 10x the damage to actually destroy.

4000 crew... that's 40,000 credits a month just to pay for the staff on a single ship. Just the staff. That's almost a half million credits a cycle just for CREW. Not even counting other ship related costs like fuel and maintenance. A single ship would put a smaller colony in DEBT. This needs to be balanced.

I did that to few games and i lost them cuz i didnt log in for too long and account was deleted like my blizzard and ubisoft account or company server was shut down like Gamespy .....i rylly miss times where i could just buy game on CD/DVD .Now im paying for something what i dont even "own" cuz can be deleted at any moment games had extras like maps books figures etc .... now im getting less for paying more ;/
