StarSector 0.96a Update Will Change How You Play The Game (Tips how to get started)

Today playing StarSector 0.95a we will be playing with some of the New ships. As I have not played for a while I will be also testing some strategies and I will give you some starsector tips for early game. I also really enjoyed the Retribution class... the new ship that was added.

You can press the tilde key (~) to hide all weapon arcs if you wanna hide all UI :)

Something I just found 3:42 you can press the ` the squiggly button above tab and next to the one key and that hides your targeting hud.

4:20 its been like that for a while. no ammo, no lines. 6:17 your face cam is covering the part that would tell us if you hit the speed up mod buttons. i haven't played in a while but i believe tab either sets it to 12x or changes from 2/4/6x speeds.

Auroras. Hmmm... Too slow. Fine, we spend story points and build in the module to increase our burn. yeah! Hyperspace topography maxed out! Burn speed boosted! Wait... Then we do not need that burn boost anymore. Fine. Let's build new Auroras and spend some more story points

my biggest problem is like 1 of my favorite modders is done modding and requested no one update his mod which kinda turned me off of the game also alot of other mods seemed to be gone i mean the mod index looks the smallest its been in a long time and i only play modded.

I presume the mid is actually broken, and merely changing the version number in mod_info.json doesn't work?

@@DaniRadriendil yes the mods broke with the new update and would need somebody that know how to fix it do something but the old modder said he did not want his stuff updated and the forums will ban people if they do it without his consent.

That stinks. I've had a couple mods die to updates over the years. I had an old version of Stellaris installed for over a year because the mod I was playing broke and nobody wanted to update it. Which mod was it? I still have a copy of the 0.96 installer if you need it.

@@DaniRadriendil it was the Dassault Mikoyan & Magellan Protectorate loved those mods but when .96 came out broke them also im good i have .95 with the mods already its just sad that that creator is not doing modding anymore, i can get updated ones from what i googled just now but its seems kinda buggy.

Mate, v0.96a-RC10 has been out since before June 2023. And the most recent version is v0.97a-RC7. Bad video & completely foolish.

I truly believe that early access for some games are just non-games testing modular parts of other games to be released in the future - Go see 'Boss Constructor' - an early access that died then stuff like this appears. Its like these early access games that die pass on their IP to others to use in a larger 'similar' games down the line. I've seen this quite a bit now.
