Pretty unique ship, the first time I played it, i wanted to use it as a tanky ship but failed badly. I guess you need to use it in forward battle without getting flanked and use its ability to decrease your area.

The Nemean Lion. Typically the auxiliary damage dealer of my Decisive Battle Fleet config and built to crush any ship under pressure by flanker or tanking groups. Scy ships are built to skirmish and flank, and their engines are unmoddable in exchange for speed and survivability, as mobility is critical to survival.

I like to slap three Type IX's on this along with the ammo Skill+mod, along with heavy armor, armored turret mounts, and shield shunt (Because without it the AI cannot be trusted). It can deny shields to both a capital and it's escorts at the same time while being virtually indestructable. Makes clearing high value targets with cruisers a breeze. The Hellrider missiles from Dassault-Mikoyan work extremely well on it, too.

My absolute favorite was 3 HE rays from the same mod, 2 needlers, optics, and extended mags. This way the ship turns into a flanking death star. When you get to the unshielded sides, even an Onslaughts with shit-ton of stacked armor melts away in a matter of seconds. Absolute beast. By the way, modules costing 4DP have not been fixed?

What's your fit? I can't make this thing work very well for me. It's tanky as hell, but just constantly venting and those shield-arm-wall things only last so long. I have had some fights against AI faction (they are unhappy with Diable, so I'm unhappy with them) that were... problematic, but mostly because they had like 12 of these things to cycle in. Like a 45 minute fight to take them all out. CR? Who needs CR? :D

It has huge flux reserves and with artillery ship system you can outrange every ship in game with exception of Paragon, so you can always build around that.

Ok this ship is actually unstoppable if you run a shield shunt and heavy armour alongside impact mitigation and polarised armour it will have 1650 armour. combined with 3 nano-neadle miniguns (a weapon from the same mod) and a targeting core then just stay in artillery mode there are few things that this thing cant kill before they even get close as long as you stay at max range. there is also something about this setup that makes the AI terrified of you and they almos never push you too hard.

iirc it has too few weapon slots to justify slowing down my entire fleet and eating a boatload of points, but boy are all the scy nation ships fun as player ships.

Installing mods is very simple just download and unpack in game mods folder then enable them in launcher Mods menu.

@@ghostban3743 Maybe you know it already but don´t forget to increase the RAM usage of the game if you want to use mods. There are some good tutorials on youtube if you don´t know how to do it.

@@derkleine3242 Yeah, i al....wart mal, du bist ja deutscher ^^ Ja klar, dass wusste ich bereits. Ist aber kein Problem das spiel rennt auch full.modded mit nur 6GB ziemlich gut. Hatte noch keine Lags oder derart, ist aber auch ein übertakteter Satz. A lots of thanks for the answers guys

EVE is much more complex, but you could say that. Also EVE is online only and Starsector is singleplayer only.
