Hey, you seem to know a lot about this game. I would highly recommend starting a lets play, as I would 100% watch it. You seem to have all of the attributes which I look for in these types of video's and they are long enough to watch in my lunch break. Keep up the good word!

I'd highly recommend NemoNaemos Starsector Let's Plays. Older runs were around half an hour per episode, his newer playthroughs are longer since they're recorded from streaming, though.

Alright, so, after watching this I figured out that inverting Shift based strafing greatly improved my PVP ability. Also, thank you so much, I would have not figured out that having a massive fleet with a couple tankers out of the battle helps a lot. Can't wait for next video! P.S. Please record with higher sound volume and the bottom part of your screen

I think one of the best formats to do tutorials is a heavily cut "top 10/20/30 tips" kinda video. Looking in the discord, and my own progression people seem to mostly struggle with specifics, such as "will my fav faction hate me if I make a colony close to them" or "what will X action result in?" Atm I'd like a "top 10 tips on stable profiteering". Exploration quests are good and all, but there are details in how the economy works that is really hard to figure out considering the amount of deaths and restarts it takes to retry. :'D I also really struggle to see how to make a profit AND surviving. I tend to steamroll up until I don't. I then die from starvation haha.

Good vid, though I was hoping you would have went into a bit more detail with refitting. I find all the different guns to be a bit overwhelming and everyone just flies through that part on every tutorial/guide video I've watched so far.

I was actually thinking of doing a video specifically about refitting, as it's a bit complicated, and going in depth into it in a video about the tutorial seemed out of place. If that's something you're interested in though, I can totally do it.

I finish the tutorial with about 150k credits by running drugs in system between missions. But then once I leave the starting zone idfk what to do to earn money, and end up burning that 150k real fast on supplies for my mamoth fleet. And yet I STILL get toasted in battle. So what am I doing wrong?

Hey I stabilized the jump point without fighting the pirates and got out scot free. Completed the missions and moved on with a big fleet undamaged. Now sustaining the fleet is costly and I’m out of supplies. What do I do in this situation?

Unfortunately that's one of those things that just come with experience. The game does have a threat evaluation mechanic, but I haven't paid enough attention to it to tell how accurate it is. If you mouse over a hostile fleet, it should give you a threat rating based upon a comparison of your fleet to theirs, where more stars = more danger. Looking back a bit, I don't believe I've ever had trouble with a four star or lower fleet, so maybe use that as a starting point for your own judgement?
