Been playing this for almost 30 days now (tomorrow will be my 30th) Game is decent, good QoL since you can pretty much click the skip button on almost everything from dailies. No energy system, instead you can try multiple lineup/positioning to clear stages. Only topped up $1 and sitting in rank 10-20 which gives me about 7-9k gems weekly across different events. This is the only game that allows me to pull special banner plenty of times weekly. And with my current weekly income from rank, Im guaranteed to get every special banner character every 2 weeks without spending real money. I dropped Ash Echoes and Haze Reverb while keeping this one.

Haze Reverb was like instantly uninstalled. The story was all over the place and the combat has like barely strategy (I use the same team everywhere like that's boring and the skills so bland no wonder since the game size was barely 5gb. As for Ash Echoes I invested in the story. It's just so good. The battle has strategy and the team has tons of variety because based on reaction, not element, which is right my alley because I play Genshin and when reaction work it's satisfying. As for Starseed, I thought I'll pass. But based on reading your review of the game is pretty generous?

​@@nurusds3 Yeah I've been playing for 30 days as well (probably like 32 I think), and as a F2P, I managed to get the banner character (Sia) max duped which is LR5. It's very generous at the start and with this many servers, you'll make it to top 10-20 easy every week even as F2P which yields a massive amount of gems. SSR pity is 30 and banner pity is 60. If you lose on the 30, you'll get the banner unit at 60. It's a good side game with some hot waifu arts. Nothing crazy but enjoyable.

This is basically my idle game of the moment. One nice thing is that story and mission progress are actually separated (that's the "story" screen you were looking at). Auto-progress in missions usually only stops down when there's a feature unlock. You have to bop over to that story display to actually see the plot. Or you can just ignore it. (At some point I should stop ignoring it... there's probably summon currency buried under all that blah-blah-blah.) As you say, though: It's not a bad game, it's not a great game, it just... is. As with all idlers, eventually I'll get bored, but it doesn't ask much of me and I get enough amusement from it, for now.

Played for a week, got a good team, all being MR1, and the first limited unit. Cleared most of the story, events and tower, but the loop was already boring after a while. Loved the social media (i still remember the archer girl doing a tik tok dance), and the chibis were cute. Weirdly enough, most of those arts on social felt like AI. All in all, i still prefer playing Eversoul if i need an idle rpg.

As much as I enjoy your content, this is one I have to strongly disagree on. There are multiple modes, a lot of thought has been put into skillsets, the music is catchy, and the animation is nothing short of beautiful. It's like Eversoul, as many have mentioned, but gamers have a chance to start on a fresh platform now instead of playing a few years of catchup. I'm an F2P, ranked 3rd on my server, and having a blast. But to each his own.

Have you tried Heaven Burns Red? That game is so good that I played just one battle in two hours of gameplay and I had the best time in my life. It's written by Key which did Clannad so the writing and comedy is top notch, also the v.a., so don't skip the story

I played it and dropped it. Around chapter 8 you just hit a big wall and you stats grow very slow cause you need tons of dupes and leveling past 70 needs like almost a full day of afk resource a single character.

It's the evolution after Artery Gear Fusion. I like all the characters though... 3d rotoscoped. Fast side game. It pockets the story. Every sector has various backgrounds. It's really not bad, but I'm at the end of 7 and my RGB/LD advantages haven't really tested me yet. It's clean, but it reminds me there is a limit to gacha. It's not high interactive. I just don't know. It's so streamlined it's bland? But I can't complain either. It has whales you will never reach. The engine is performant. That literally puts it above Wuwa loads on mobile... which is sad. It's the state of mobile gaming. Heaven Burns Red is a fun story, then I just DLed King Arthur before they turn on global.

@ShadowMagnum I was kind of getting tired of the gacha games like you, but I stuck with Aether Gazer. I think it's great and I think most of the regular players are pretty satisfied. They've been really generous and added a few QOL updates. If you haven't played since launch you'll notice a lot of differences. I log in and play a bit usually every day. It's a nice chill game for me. I recommend at least checking it out again. If it's still not your cup of tea then no big. Also there's a PC client now.
