I honestly can't understand how a "Starset fan" can dislike their new songs. They're so great to listen to once you've cleared your mind and quit comparing them to the older albums. None of their songs will be the same, and that's what's so great about them, they're willing to come up with something new and meaningful.

I was a fan since 2015 loved every album/track (not everglow) till this album dropped. I just hate it. They went from rock to shitty pop. I can not dislike trials and manifest but those 2 are still weaker than every song in the first 2 albums (exept everglow ofc). To sum it up Im still sad how they changed their style... But still view them as my fav band bc Vessels and Transmissions.

@@mazadancoseben4818 I think this mood was purely intended. As far as I am aware, Starset uses the properties of music to set a scene and write a story through the sounds of music. Take for example this song, it is likely intended to show that these people are trapped as slaves in their mind after getting their BMI after a fatal flaw in them was abused. Or take for example Tunnel Vision, it is more than likely telling the story of the "free" side of the war winning as they start slowly undo the threads of lies sown over the eyes of the innocent and revealing the trap that the BMI is. And then Earthrise is likely telling the tale of someone discovering and using the BMI for the first time, and being engulfed by it's beauty. (But in reality instead falls for it's trap.) Sorry if there is any grammatical errors in this, am a bit tired and haven't taken any time to proof read this.

Yeah, this one follows the Halo/Sattelite archetype by just being very nice sounding and not too intense on its lyrics. Its edge isn't super gritty and it has a more smooth and nice feeling to it instead of it pumping you up. Very refreshing, indeed.
