A game with the Star Trek IP in the style of Firefly or Outer Rim would be great. So many great opportunities to have throw backs to the tv series in missions and crew.

Got the game and played one solo. I can easily see this being a game where people may want to play an extra round or two if they enjoy it and want to get more out of their engine. But perhaps one other option it to let everyone start with, say, one additional Blue crew member, just so that people can get some more engine started a little earlier. I may try that after initial group plays if they want "more" out of it.

The other thing you could try would be to empty you Queue for the last round. That would let you get some value out of any officer promoted late in the round, without adding full rounds to the game..

Based on your description of this game, I think I would leave feeling really unsatisfied that I didn’t get to complete my engine. It’s one of the reasons Ark Nova left our collection.

i think it's not startrek inspired...or is it just me :)...really like this game because it is light. staying in my collection because of it...and because it is not star trek inspired
