anyone notice that joey seems to lack confidence on the cast album? theres a bunch of moments throughout that he nails live that he doesnt quite reach on the album. i think he wasnt a confident singer yet so he got self conscious

whats the white symbol on the back of Joey's shirt, does it just mean stage crew, since you generally wear black on stage to not be noticed?

I’ve noticed the rest of the cast (or at least a majority) have the same design on the back, usually in productions they make the cast/crew shirts or jackets based on the show they’re preforming as gifts to look back on. I can’t really tell if the design is related to anything but since a lot of them seem to have I imagine assuming they used the gifts as part of the puppeteers costumes so they didn’t have to buy plain black ones on top of it. but yeah they’re wearing them so the focus is more on the puppets and not the actors
