Is anyone else noticing how Meredith's accent changes depending on how much emotion she's feeling? She literally changes it between words, becoming more human and less robotic as she realizes her own feelings, and going back when she tries to process those feelings robotically. It's masterful characterization!

I have never gotten over Dylan and Meredith's duet in this show. The characters, their performances and Darren's lyrics here, really all converge into something special. "If that's all you are just a meaningless star in the sky, tell me what is the meaning of what I am feeling if you are the reason why?" and the overlap of "When you know everything it is suddenly strange when you don't have a clue" and "I don't know anything, but you're giving me a clue" are both absolutely genius.

Right? Like, it's funny and all, but if you actually think about it, it's really sweet. MegaGirl is a robot, so she's literally programmed to listen to humans. Because of this, she feels like a slave who has no purpose other than to do the human's bidding. Tootsie actually talked to her like a person, without wanting something out of her. He treated her like an ordinary human being. He was the first person to ever show her kindness. Ugh I just,,, I love this.
