Starship launch and Super Heavy landing 6 June 2024

For the fourth flight test of a fully integrated Starship, SpaceX used a Super Heavy rocket booster to launch a Starship upper stage, from Starbase in Texas, on 6 June 2024, at 12:50 UTC (07:50 CDT).

Total success, if they keep going like this we will have another 2 flight test this year and they might even try to actually catch on flight 6

I think they plan on catching the booster during IFT-5. Considering that this one landed successfully, it is possible they'll try it

@@raptorwhite6468 Elon did say IFT-5 but I don't think that will happen , but then again I thought the stuff they wanna acomplish in IFT-4 was too much but they nailed everything lol

@@raptorwhite6468 I hope not tbh , cause if it fails the launch pad is damaged , if they can replicate the levitation for another 1-2 flight then I think they could catch it, but it is kinda crazy to think that Starship is close to land in a Falcon 9 style if it had landing legs, that big ass rocket landing softly is insane feat, makes the SLS so outdated already and cost 1/10 to develop and even less to launch

It landed SUCCESSFULLY u can see belly flop maneuver and speed dropping prior touchdown to 0 km/h than it falls in water to horizontal position with speed slightly raised and dropped its 110% SUCCESS CONGRATS SPACEX congrats Humanity stop wars

It's a great success, after triple failed tries, finally, Starship is flown into space and returned back to the Earth through a splashdown at sea. During launch, 32 engines in the Heavy were ignited, one didn't.
