David Soul who played Detective Kenneth “Hutch” Hutchinson in the original television series STARSKY AND HUTCH has passed away. I never seen the show but I know he’s famous in it and i remembered he had a cameo in this movie remake. RIP to David Soul, 1943-2024.

3:59 the torino looked so bad ass rollin down the alleyway with the air socks, if it were actually a 74 4 speed car, thats a fun street car right there, 75 and 76 were only automatic and had engines further detuned and 1975 was the first year of the catalytic converter

I have encountered feelings. In one side, I'm glad this is one of Todd Phillips' movies that took him to direct many years later "Joker" and soon to release "Joker: Folie a Déux". In the other hand, watching this ending makes me sad because of David Soul's passing that took place today. Thanks a lot, Dave. May he rest in peace...

Paul Glaser hated the Gran Torino because it was so underpowered and it handled like crap. During the TV show he would constantly slam it into the curbs because he tried to wreck it every chance he got. He also said that David Soul hated it because it had a bench seat the first year and he would end up on Paul’s lap when he made a hard right turn. I bet he loved the scene from this movie where they drove it off the dock and into the sea.
