As a Ka50 and Ka52 pilot, it makes almost no difference in war thunder. Actually its better to have them down since they can absorb hard landings, thus not damaging the fuselage.

4500kph, to my knowledge it's the fastest missile in the game, the hilarious thing is provided you fire around the same time as any missile AA, you'll usually hit them first.
