As of the phase 2 starsurge nerfs leveling a druid will now be much harder. It increases the damage of Starfire but you don't get that until level 20. If I have time I will level another druid for more information

The best way of getting it as Horde is by dying in Dustwallow and take the boat in Theramore as a ghost. Then you jump off the boat as a ghost, die to fatigue and you spawn back in Dustwallow. Take the boat again and ress at your fatigued corpse then swim. Takes like 20-30min with lucky boat timings, and you just need to die 1-2 times on your way to Dustwallow.

Or just die on the pier, then rez on the ship once it's there.

this doesnt work,when you die it takes you back to thereamore and if you do get to a spirit healer it ports you back to the one that you were sent to when you first died.

Like to add one thing, I went on my tauren at level 1 to wetlands, I went throught duskwallow marsh and took the boat to wetlands, was WAY easier than your path! :D

Wasn't sure if I actually wanted to go through the trouble of getting starsurge, but it was worth it. Did it at level 5 using your method of getting there. Raptors in the wetlands were pretty annoying but overall it wasn't too bad. Glad I did it early because it def helps a ton when you're lower level. Thanks for the video.

I bought a summon to wetlands at lvl 1 on my druid and skipped all the deathrun nonsense. 75 silver and about 5 mins later I have my starsurge rune. Hearth back to mulgore and im cruising HARD. Druid the fastest leveling class with that rune by far.

Tauren druids look for a group doing Dark Iron ordinance farming in wetland in LFG chat and whisper them for an inv and hope you get summoned before someone realizes you are level 4.

Hell yea! just did this, following this guide, it was actually really fun to do, when you knew how to do it, yes you die alot, but it wasnt too bad really, i was level 12, and had orgrimmar fp. After getting it, the leveling is just smooooth, TYTY :D

does not work at Tarren Mill...you get rez back to Tarren Mill every time..died like 24x times need alt route. Please explain that death skip does not work. 3 hours in I got to RavenHoldt only to die to a gryphon to get sent back to Tarren Mill...don't do this. Just pay for a summons.

You're supposed to go back to the Tarren Mill graveyard? I explain in the video going through Ravenholdt is just to die slightly less, you could just run through mobs and die maybe 3-4 more times that is too confusing. I don't see how the entire route wouldn't work or need revision.

I really like your guides! Keep em up! Started to play sod casually so got druid to 22 now! Some guy managed to give a tp at lvl 3 to get starsurge which helped so much and cat now feels so good ! Maybe will level mage alt also

Get a stack of Swiftness Potions (5 for 1g). Will save a lot of time getting through the mobs in hillsbrad to next part

the real way to do it on a tauren is to pay for a sum to wetlands, theyre happening all day every day, just pay 1g dont waste 2hrs of ur life

I was expecting cat form to be godlike like every other guide says, but for some reason I am not feeling it. Not sure what i'm doing wrong. I'm pretty much mangle spamming with 1pt savage roar, but killing same level mobs with no prehot is either impossible or taking up most of my health. So I have to shift out after every mob, cast regrowth, shift back, and proceed to the next enemy. If i pull the next mob right away, i'm at 0 energy from the shift. If i wait until full energy then the hot from regrowth is almost over and i lose a ton of health again. It just feels really off. What am i doing wrong?

Why not go through dustwallow and get into theramore and take the alliance boat into wetlands. You are dying like 5000 times when you can die 100 times.

For those wounder if its worth getting starsurge it took me 1 hour of time played to get and i was level 21 in 19 hours played (this includes the 1 to get the spell). This guide was great and hope that those numbers help you decide if you should go get the spell

level 17-20 felt soooo good killing harpies in north barrens - 30min to gain level, without ANY rested exp!! 3x wrath + starsurge. possibly 1 extra wrath if the mobs start fleeing. Almost no dps mana usage (sunfire only rare use), zero cast time healing touch on proc. So... got to level 20.... damn, cat form sucks. You actually start taking damage, so healing required. Dps is also lower compared to balance. (3x wrath is 4.5 sec + 1 instant cast. hard to beat that). So you guessed it, I'm back to balance again and it feels amazing again. You melt everything with very little damage taken (mobs die before you start taking lots of dmg) Multi mobs obviously not possible.

Yes. Or try it on alliance. It’s not worth the extra 3 hours. Just level normal and do it. The no mana cost is so so much better. Blasto. Way better

Prolly engi if u want to really do good at pvp or herb/alch if u want to make ur own pots esp mana pots or pot of swiftness and FAPS and make good gold on the AH selling shadow resistance pots for BFD raid

Thanks, and no thanks for not mentioning the horde of dinosaurs standing not even 10 yards away from him. Recommend doing this with a higher lvl person for assist. That or wait until you’re high enough lvl to do this.
