Ive made mods for other games and if BO3 is similair it looks complex but knowing how to make mods is basically just going onto the discord and asking for help and watching tutorials till you gather knowledge. It isnt super hard but you need to have a bit of dedication.

Is their not a community that can show new mod creators, because there are not enough Video out their that explain everything to make everything, for example : - how can you build your own working Teleporter ( like in Kino) ? - how can you put shield parts on the map to build it that are in every round in different locations. ? - how can you bring own custom Weapons into your own map from all the other games mixed ? - how can you build a moving train ( like in shadows.? - how can you get jump pats ( from Eisendrache) or these flying platforms ( from ascension ) working on your map) ? - how can you build your own cutscenes ? - How can you create a EE with boss fight? - how can you bring boss that you want into the map in the exact round ? - how can you bring in all the perks and some perks like ( phd flopper ) in the game. - how can you create your own playable ?Charakters into the game ( like the Rock ) There are so many more but as it seems there are not enough people out their that want to show how the did. it, so I say that you can’t make everything what you want or not ?

Question, how much do these map creators make from patreons and donations? Do you think working on these maps is worth it as a side hustle?

Not worth it tbh when you compare it to other side hustles. Even the best creators probably only get like $0-600 for maps that they put 100s hours into. Would make more working anywhere else. But for me and others it’s a passion project that we enjoy doing and would make them either way. We just provide the ability to donate for those that want to, but it’s not expected.

Ive encountered a new issue. Any time I try to open radiant, it gets stuck on "initializing graphics system" and when i click on it, it says "radiant_modtools.exe is not responding". Any suggestions. I tried changing the decimal symbol to a period. that did not work.

There's a chance it will fix it if you go on steam, right click the bo3 mod tools, go to properties and do a verify game cache integrity check.

When I try to load up my map to test run it, none of the textures except the perk machines and power switch load up. I believe it is because of the sky box or the other surrounding boxes but I am not sure what about them is messed up. My map is transparent.

I know this is a bit late but I had this problem and I fixed it by clicking “compile light and link” and then build and wait for it to load and then click “run” and build and just do it everytime you want to open the map

When trying to move lets say xy top window or 3d view window i dont get the option when dragging the window around to relocate (to make it look like waw radiant 2d on left side and 3d on right) Instead when trying to move it just unpins it from radiant into a floating window which i can not pin back to radiant
