Start the Game as a Crimson Fleet Pirate! - Creation Club Mod for Starfield

Hey y'all :) Here, I share with you a very cool Creation Club Mod in Starfield that will skip the intro, skip through deep cover and rook meets king mission as well as, give you a choice of whether or not you're a Sysdef Spy or Never!... it's called, Crimson Start New Game. You'll begin the game with a Class A Crimson Fleet Ghost Ship and Level 1. I also make mention of the Darkstar Trainee's Maelstrom weapon and go over a couple of details as well as, show you the location of it, in case you're interested in downloading and using the mod. It just keeps getting better!

**Quick Note: If you load up an existing game with this mod installed, you'll be presented with an error for Lookup STOP Code 6 which is fine. The mod will not load into an existing game and is recommended to start a fresh game to use this :)

This mod is awesome. This is something that makes so much sense that the devs should absolutely have incorporated into the base game.

The base game could have been baked-in a bit better. Come to think of it, there could potentially be a mod that gives us a choice as to which faction we want to start with (FreeStar Rangers, Neon Security, Disciples, Strykers, UC Marines, UC Vanguard, Constellation, Crimson Fleet, UC Security).

You can actually join the crimson fleet, if you refuse the uc comander offer after you are arrested, a npc will give you a invitation to join the crimson fleet thus begin the questline

I'm wanting to do a Crimson Fleet playthrough but not sure if I want the fast start or not. It's not difficult per se, but from New Game to joining it is a bit long and tedious so I don't know yet..🤔 Also if you want the best of both worlds (achievements + Creations), then be sure to download Starfield Script Extender, Address Library, and Baka Achievement Enabler! (then run game through script extender - activate your mods in Creations, and play) 👍

I agree that it's very... monotonous or tedious to get to the Crimson Fleet unless you just nab things from anywhere, crack the ATMs near the shuttle in New Atlantis and get caught, refuse the offer, etc lmao. Speaking to the SFSE, Address Library route... Did Baka Achievement Enabler get update? Last time I tried to run SFSE with Baka it tossed me a nice critical .dll error haha.

@@Skuliboro It's updated for 1.12.32 and yet I was getting the same thing... I ended up doing a full clean install (I wiped my Creations, uninstalled Starfield, deleted all folders from MyDocuments and AppData, etc)... but I'm not 100% sure that was the problem. I did run DDU (uninstalled all graphics drivers, and installed the latest only) and then I also disabled all my mods in MO2 -> Reinstalled SFSE, Baka, and Address Library fresh. Ran SFSE.... and everything was fine. So I have no clue what it was (maybe something got corrupted?) but.. I am not using MO2 at all in this new launch method (which I hear there's an issue with some of the content anyways (the SFBGS00#.esm get deslected and thrown out of order) so this is fine working without it until that gets fixed). Any mod I want that isn't in Creations, I drag over to my my Starfield\Data\.. directory manually (I even have 'Ship Power Fix.esm' and 'Leveled Mission Boards.esm' in there (with their loose files (in Scripts\..) and then loaded them through Creations load order. Seems fine so far. EDIT: Oh but I do have some specific mods (like StarUI, a pause menu background, Visual Skill Descriptions, etc) still in MyDocuments\Games\Starfield\Interface\.. or Eyes of Beauty still in their own folder in the Documents route as well. Since those aren't available in Creations yet

It's not creation club anymore It's just Creations now.

I think my save just ruined the pirat missions, i had this bug where rook meets king Mission don’t start, then I did use this mod and tried start a new game on the same ng+ save, i spawned there but get instant attacked by pirats and the mission disappears instant.

I'd definitely recommend loading up your original save pre-NG+ and saving there. With the pirate mod, a fresh new game (from scratch) is suggested. You can always swap back and forth between characters so there's no risk of losing your existing save if you start new :)

Wait I think I missed it - what mod you running giving you infinite credits and ammo in the captain's locker? lol I might need that 👀 for um... science.

It’s a creation called unlimited resources, ammo, credits etc. I notice it works on ships you board or steal in game, but doesn’t work on ships that are owned. In the best there is mission, I just kept going on Juan Daiyu captains locker until the creds were near 2mil haha.

I also use StarUI HUD and StarUI Inventory to make things easier for myself.

If you switch between what you're carrying and what cargo you already have, it'll populate said credits and digipics.

hi before starting I would just like to make sure before launching a new game with this mod that it will not erase my old game, I could play the pirate party and my old save, is that right?

Hey there. The mod won't touch your old save. It's recommended to start a fresh game as you are in order for this to take effect. Otherwise, if you were on your old game, it wouldn't be active :)

@@raf59104 You're welcome :) Just as a note and I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the video... if you load your old game with the mod installed, you'll more than likely be presented with some sort of error message in-game. That can be ignored since it won't hurt anything existing.

Does this work with ng+ or do you have to start a new game

It's recommended by the mod author, to start a fresh new game with this. Another person mentioned using it with NG+ but it caused them issues. :)

@@bafelix89 Actually just reading now, as of June 17, 2024 via NexusMods page the author states "With the mod loaded any new games, including NG+, will automatically start as a Crimson Pirate at the Key. You can do all the regular quests again or create your own narratives in an Open World Universe."
