Hi Gayle, love your journal! I did want to share something with you and that is taking an old thick phone book and opening it in the middle. Then sit your signature (I clip them like you do) in the crack of the phone book when punching your holes.

What a beautiful journal. I like your idea of using fabric scraps for tag toppers. I've always used ribbon or twine so that is a great homespun idea to try out with my fabric scraps.

I’ve enjoyed this series so much, it’s been amazing. I’m curious why you didn’t just binder clip the template to the spine and punch straight through? Then you wouldn’t need to worry about pens not working. Looking forward to the flip, it’s going to look amazing.

looks like this would have been a good one to use an attached spine piece! And sew the signatures to it first and glue that in....lol
