My husband and I were married at Christmas, it's our favourite time of the year. I would love to do a Christmas themed journal but I think it will have to wait till I have got some Christmas themed ephemera to work with, but I shall enjoy watching you put together your Christmas journals. My Aunt and Uncle named all their 5 children with first names beginning with A and second names beginning with M. It was so cute when the children were young and they would sign of their cards ' from the 5 A.M.' s '. It wasn't so cute when the children got older and started receiving post.

Oh boy, Gayle! Christmas!! I love it, too! Just as much as I love Fall! I already took a peek as you were talking and love all those Vintage Christmas Cards on your Etsy! Just beautiful, as you were saying! It's going to be so much fun watching you make these! I will probably get the cards as I do especially love sleighs. I remember, when I was a little girl of 6, riding in a sleigh to church with my Grandfather in Newfoundland. That would have been about 1966. And yes, they did still use horses and sleighs up there at that time to get to places. It was fun and for me, at the time, quite magical! Well, it's been a big day with doing things around the house. I will finish watching tomorrow. Taking the day off. My still healing knee has really been bothering me the past few days; it needs a break. Think it might be the weather. Cold or wet weather just seems to make it freeze up and then it's a bit painful. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this and the next video, too. God Bless, Gayle! Sue

Wow, you have so much cute Christmas stuff, Gayle! And really neat vintage stuff, too! And I agree...the little girl reminds me of my childhood Christmases...like the doll and the heavy tinsel. My mother always put angel hair on the tree, too. I think my Grandparents had a few candles on their tree and it was a big event every night to light them up. And I love vintage Santas. I have a whole set of vintage ceramic Santas from all around the world. Just love them! And just go ahead and grunge those borders up!! Lovely cover! Really vintage looking so far! Oooo, I have that storage container and I bought mine eons ago from Costco. Mine wasn't Christmas paper, more vintage and darker. Even if I don't use all the paper, the holder is worth every penny I paid.

It’s so much fun to do Christmas, love the vintage pictures. I will be going through my parents cards from back in the 50’s, 60’s and will scan and make copies and use in my journals. I purchased Tim Holtz glaze and I saw a crafter put that on her picture, I’m gonna give it a try. I was thinking using Believe material as a small belly band. 🎄👍

You know Gayle, a thought regarding your dad, I think just moving from your family home, even when it is necessary, can send the elderly into depression mainly because of the change in their routine. I feel my dad has lived as long as he has because he could still fiddle with a small garden, and tend to his yard. I am excited to see this Christmas journal come together Gayle. Finally got Internet service here at Dads.

Love all of this. My granddaughter 3 and a half was watching you do the cover. She loved the little girl and she said this is what we do when you used the glue.
