The voice though… I need to listen to this before bedtime, otherwise I risk falling asleep. Not complaining, it’s great, but maybe a warning should be added “do not operate heavy machinery while listening to this video.” With such a smooth, calming voice, you have a future in audiobooks for bedtime stories.

You didnt learn English with translations. If this story is too difficilt for you then may i recomend the 10 video guide from "spanish with Paul" in order to learn the basics.

@@DJaprendiendoEStrue, but when we learn our first language, someone repeats it over and over again, and within context. “Do you want to eat an apple?” “Do you like the apple?” “Let’s share an apple!” In this way our very smart brain is able to register the word “apple” and link it to the image of an apple. And if the kid accidentally said “pear,” there will be someone correcting him. I am at a level where I understand most of the words, some from context, or similarity with English or other foreign words. If your level is much lower, you need to build up vocabulary with videos for kids, where they show the apple and say “apple.” Listen while watching it, then listen without watching and let your brain struggle a little bit to imagine what the word means. It is the struggle that fixes the memory. Then you can move on to this type of video.

like everything I've learned it was done by finding out whether the answer was right or not. You won't learn by taking a test and not have anyone telling you if the answers were correct or not.

@@JamesHutchison-t5udepending on your level, you can be your own critic. You have the tools to check if you are correct or not.
