Thanks for this--yes amazing! And the arpeggios under all the chords work great with this concept too. Love this smooth, moody progression.

This is good, im close to where this is, im just wondering in order where to start in regards to learning most if not all the box positions, do i start by goi g throuhg the genres/bands/songs i like and learn the key its in then learn the chord progression ie nashville numbering system then learn what box positions used in the songs scale or scale used in the song? Then from there i can after the time and effort finally learn how to jam over any backing track keeping in mind the relative minor etc from the circle of 4ths//5ths, im just looking for a road map a structure than is the order in the chaos. Btw liking your playstyle 👍

Mike. First off glad you like the lesson. That's a loaded set of questions! I find that many people learn the first position pentatonic scale but never venture out much. The best way to start learning the other 4 would be to take a song you already know and then start playing along with them by slowing adding pieces of the other positions.

Dan thanks for the comment. Funny you mention that!. Yes I love this Gibson 335, only thing is the neck is pretty beefy! A slightly thinner neck would be great.

Hi. I really like your videos. I’ve learned a great deal. But, do you have to keep sliding the screen. It is really, really distracting. It actually makes me nauseous. Thanks for listening.
