Yessss loved this!!!! People blow me aiming for the aesthetic curly loc ends. Baby ulour locs might not even want to do that, let your locs decide the path on their own.

I was already natural so this is just going deeper into natural without extra hair products. I’ll be a month Saturday and I love my hair so far( frizz, shrinkage, all that good stuff) I’m going to enjoy the stages and eager to see what my 1 year will look like

I love everything you are saying. There are doubts, concerns, nervousness with this process and like you said that's with anything new that happens in life. We need to embrace it. All of it. Before starting my loc journey, I had to embrace my grays in my 30's, everything is a process. Just go thru it. Let it happen, naturally.

i started my journey 3 months ago…some are larger than others but they are roughly the same…it was very unsettling to me at first but after having conversations with a few friends with experience & coming across your instagram & tiktok…i’m starting to find beauty in imperfection…each loc tells a story & them being imperfect makes them locs…i’m obviously going to combine the thinner ones to make them stronger…but all in all i’m obsessed with my journey & i feel so much more confident already…thank you for sharing your story❤️you’ve helped me more than you can imagineeee!!!!

Ur the reason why I started mine! I was on the fence because I didn’t have a loctician. I remember your install video and loved your energy and excitement so I installed mine and I just had my one year anniversary last week!!

Just started mine yesterday ready for the new year new me! Have been battling the urge since 2020 lockdown part one (should’ve just done it then smh locs would’ve been swinging by now) But you honestly have given me so much confidence because my hair is so thin atm and ready to thicken them up haha. Gonna stick with it tho and ready to see what my locs become! Thank you for the wisdom and happy new year! xx

Well the mythical "ugly stage" effect everyone differently, some just want the end result like you said. Then there's some that are starting on short hair which is a battle in itself, depending on the starter method. You can't let other peoples opinion hold that much weight no matter your relationship to them, to truly enjoy the journey.
