⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑ Ingredients: • 2 cups cake flour or all-purpose flour • 4 tablespoons sugar • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 2 large eggs • 1 cup yogurt - I had kefir in fridge this time • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑ Instructions: 1. Preheat the waffle iron Plug in your waffle iron 2. Mix the dry ingredients In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 3. Whisk together on high speed the eggs, melted butter, and sugar until smooth, light and fluffy. Then add yoghurt and vanilla, continue mixing. 4. Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, fold gently with a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it’s okay if a few lumps remain. 5. Cook the waffles Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron. Close the lid and cook according to your waffle iron’s instructions, about 4-6 minutes or until golden brown. 6. Serve immediately Remove the waffles and serve warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, Nutella , or whipped cream. Tip: For extra crispy waffles, let them cool on a wire rack instead of stacking them.
