Sorry for hijacking a spot right up front: but you mentioned Hobbiton, in New Zealand. You do realize that built right, a Hobbit house is tornado proof and fireproof? You basically dig a basement, spray-up a reinforced concrete dome, put the dirt back on top, and plant it with turf. Engineer it right, and a tornado or wildfire should go right over the top of that and do no damage. If we do this with Portland cement it will begin to crumble in as little as 40 years while it adds 8 or 9 percent to climate change. Our infrastructure is crumbling because it was built with "OPC"; if we rebuild with it at the same time as China and India and Africa "modernize" with it, that contribution to climate change will grow exponentially. If instead we use geopolymer cements, structures well built with them might last thousands of years, while they draw CO2 out of air and sequester it as they cure. "GPCs" should cost less, are more fireproof, waterproof, and protect cellulose from fire and rot such that bamboo can replace steel for reinforcing in low-rise construction. That, too, would both avoid and sequester carbon. And if the inventor of Blue World Crete has what he thinks he has, a super-strong, flexible, hydrophobic geopolymer cement that superinsulates, he will hugely simplify and reduce the cost of construction. I see a solution to the affordable housing crisis in Blue World Crete. Please google it up, and Blue World Sciences, and see what you think.

Hey Neil I’ve got a question that’s been bothering me. Obviously when a light source gets blocked by an object it creates a shadow. As you look farther from the blockage the shadow created gets larger. This being said why don’t stars with planets orbiting them in distance galaxies have all their light blocked by the shadows created by these planets?
