+Ivan Robuliak Actually a executor class star destroyer is about 12 times bigger than a imperial star destroyer. The executor is like 11.8 miles long and the ISD is 1 mile.

Everything seemed right except the order of defense tokens. Redirect is always last, brace comes before, and evade and scatter come first. Dice altercation before changing the actual damage total/ applying it

Never ever eeeeeeeever expose the side of a Nebulon, unlike every other rebel ship a broadside is not what they're designed for. Your use of concentrate firepower on a squadron is correct, but it only applies to attacking one of the squadrons, as attacking each squadron is considered a separate attack.

first time the VSD atacks the NB he cant shot from the side becouse the side is not ind the Fire arc put are in line of sight is 2 difrent things, when you looking for line of sight is from yollow dot to to yollow dot. and fire arc is from this lines that also seperats the hull ´zones :)

+Jacob Glad It is incredibly fun, but also one of the most expensive FFG starter sets. It costs about as much as Imperial Assault, but doesn't offer nearly as much content. What disappointed me the most is that they still don't pack enough dice into the starter boxes. If I have to drop almost a hundred bucks on a new game, I would expect to have enough for all common scenarios...

Whats the difference between this and X-wing? I mean I see that things like x-wings and tie fighters are no longer individual ships but for the most part the two games appear to be the same to me.

It's more strategic than X-Wing. In X-Wing, you control the ships and plan each piece's move and fire accordingly. With Armada, there are 2 levels of strategy: capital ship and then squadrons. It's a lot harder to put both phases into your planning in the beginning of each round (I.e. I wanted to move my squadrons there but my cap ships are in the way). That and the larger ships require command dial planning for multiple rounds in the future. Oh, and it's only six rounds per game. So you've got to be intentional with all of your moves before time runs out. Both games are great but Armada tends to hurt my brain more after afternoon. :)

This was quite a bit of fun to watch since it's different than the other Star Wars minis on the channel. Is there any possible way we will see a Battle Report for Star Trek Attack Wing? It's very hard to find any videos for it online, let alone any of quality like MWG. I'm sure those of us in the comments section would love to see a narrative campaign in both Star Trek and Star Wars, in addition to all the extremely fun content you guys are putting out. Keep up the good work!

You can use as many tokens as you like, but only one per type. You couldn't Evade 2 dice away, but you could Evade and then Brace for the remainder of the damage.

Hey I'm new to the game, and I'm pretty sure you can help me haha. So how are tokens used? How do you spend tokens? And also how did you cancel out a critical card with your engineering token. Rules got wrong. You can still use your defence tokens when they are flipped to red but if you do you lose them for the rest of the game. Just so you know.

+dan cross I don't recall them saying they can't use it a second time. They simply chose not to burn it if they avoided it. I kind of agree with them, it is wasteful to burn early in the game like it was, and wouldn't have have had any real impact since the Nebulon did brace each shot when able.

+Dave Marshall It has two braces. When you use defense tokens, you can exhaust one, which refreshes the next round. If you really feel the need, you can use the exhausted one a second time, which removes it from the pool, it doesn't come back. So from this point on he is down to one brace, and one evade assuming he doesn't spend them while exhausted. It technically has up to 6 defense options ,but spending them, especially relatively early like that is a bad choice, chances are his crit 'discard' was the one he already used. It still hurts, but left him able to Brace the next shot.

I'd say that the rebel tactics at the start were pretty poor. to bring down an SD vic you need to focus fire on it and out maneuver it. The TIEs should be pretty much irrelevant at the begining of the game

Im just learning the game now. But I didn't think Crits did damage; only if damage card is dealt then the standard crit would deal the damage card face up. Am I reading this wrong?

+George Sampson The crits count as a damage result. and the standered crit effect is worded that the first damage card the ships receives from the attack is face up

+George Sampson Crits are a damage, but they also add to the result. Standard crit is when the first damage card is dealt (meaning damage got through the shields) it comes face up adding an effect to the damage. There are upgrade cards that allow you to choose a different crit effect though only one may be used per attack.

For this purpose, ignore activation sliders, shield dials, and the plastic portions of a ship’s base that frame shield dials" Not sure if that applies to befor or after movement of a ship is complete. +NopeCSGO Its like the rules for X-wing, if a ship goes off the edge its considered fleeing the battle and "Destroyed". If this is like the X-wing game the "map" is only 3x3' so getting close to the edge can be risky.

Whats the difference between Armada and X-Wing? I went on a local gaming stores page to see if they do any Armada tournaments, just to see if it had any popularity to do so, and it didnt. So is there a reason or is it just newer and they havent had the time? To me it looks like Armada is a newer updated X-Wing at a first glance. Am I wrong?
