Great timing! I've been looking for houses with garages because Ravasheen made functional garage doors, so thankfully I can easily swap hers in. But it made me realize how difficult it is to build a connected garage if there's a foundation, I'm wondering if this is partly why we don't have cars yet? It's easy to lower rooms using the platforms feature, but the walls don't lower to the ground with them. Or you have to lower the walls at the cost of flattening the entire house, so no foundations. They should make garages easier to build alongside a cars update. We finally got story progression after almost 8 years, so it's hard for me to 100% rule out most things as bleak as it feels, lol

Better build and but catalog by twisted mexi improved my building style and thanks to that and tool i love terrain tools and landscaping. Twisted mexi’s great job is a must have for us builders. I am glad to see you using it more💕💕

to answer your question, I don't mind if it's detailed or more simple. They're both fun to watch as videos. When I download your houses off the gallery, most of the stuff disappears anyway if I don't own the packs and I just add stuff in. I'm using your Realm of Magic headquarters in my current save, and the entire bottom floor had no items. While it's a bit disapointing that the original build items disappear, it's still fun, becuase I treat it like a template using the same room/building you built (takes the pressure off me to invent a beautiful building) but I'm able to put new objects in it. I added a botanical classroom with indoor pools, like irrigation channels .

While I generally prefer the smaller and more cluttered starter homes, I appreciate that this one is bigger and more empty. The landscaping really gives the home personality and a sense of continuity despite the more empty interior. It kinda feels like an older home that was well loved by the previous family and was put on the market with the furniture that was too big to transport/that the family didn’t want, which is very realistic as a starter home. The garage door actually reminds me of my best friend’s childhood bedroom because his room was a converted garage. It would also be very easy to turn that room back into a garage space.

I love this home, the only thing I'd change is the kids/teen beds need to be against the wall. That's just how it is where I've come from. It's more common for beds to be against the wall. Also I prefer the more empty grow into homes.

I feel like I am doing something wrong with my starter builds. Yours are stupendous. I can't make an old trailer that looks right. I like them kind of spacious because I always worry about ruining the exterior when expanding. I'm curious what you would be able to do with the packs I use most for starters that look the rundown kind of affordable? Vampires, City Living, Paranormal and Country Kitchen.

I love watching videos for either kind of starter home! but for downloading from the gallery I’m usually looking for something more like this one, since I play on a laptop and too much clutter makes it lag.

I actually would love to see a starter home where you do all the landscaping and build the house, choose the flooring, wallpaper, counters, and appliances (so like, the stuff that would usually come in a house in real life if you buy one- counters, fridge, stove, toilet(s), shower(s)/bath(s), sink(s), etc) but not have any other furniture. So like, no beds, no couches, no tables or chairs, no artwork, etc. Maybe the house comes with a fireplace, maybe it doesn’t. Maybe the previous owners left behind a dusty old computer chair they didn’t want to bother with moving (that happened to me with the house I live in now LOL). Maybe they planted beautiful flowers in the yard, or had a little pond installed, or left a swing set behind (or maybe not!). Maybe the previous owners took their fridge with them to their new house so there isn’t a fridge but there is already a stove and counters! You know?? I just think that would be so fun!
