I like how you said to False re: Xisuma “GET HIM!” hahaha 21:08 False saying you need a permit for relaxing and lying as well made me laugh so hard 😂 I think your prices are fine tbh. It seems like many of the hermits are much more willing to spend a lot of money in the shopping district this season because it is sooo easy to get loads with an hour of cave mining. And instead of a handful of hermits having an oligopoly on the server where it may have made hermits without automatic farms for everything feel bad (their own shops barely selling while there would be a few hermits who would do their rounds every episode to all their shops and end up with several diamond blocks every week), this season’s item permits have mostly fixed that completely. And if hermits are selling their wares, they’re going to spend those diamonds. The permit system has some flaws but it’s the best economy for everyone I’ve seen in HC over the last 6 seasons I’ve watched. It’s entertaining for the viewer to see the hermit they’re watching pick up all their profits and even more so dropping all those diamonds in different shops.

Season 5 was different, they sold services. But shops helps each other out and can stir up conflict for entertaining content. What would you like to see instead of shops that would spread the grinding of resources around the server? Or are you thinking you'd rather see everyone only use stuff that they get themselves? No, all trophies r 10 diamonds no matter the tier... n yes Xisuma is counting the diamonds he makes by selling trophies when counting home many diamonds he has made in order to purchase his own trophies from himself. I mentioned this trick on Xizuma's video too for getting the allays to follow u. I made them hold a lead n then also attached one to them, so whenever the lead broke they would pick it up n run up to me. I just had to watch for when the lead breaks to know to stop cuz they weren't as fast as my horse

I imagine that people will put multiples of 9 diamonds into the payment slots unless you put down some strategic crafting benches. But if you don't mind people paying in pennies, then that's not an issue. I also have the feeling that occasionally people will forget the word "block" and pay 1/9 of the price. I've seen it happen before.

I think it would be really fun if for returning the empty buckets you could make a refilling station, which checks if the shulker is full with empty buckets and then after paying a diamond block spits out a shulker with filled lava. Should not be too difficult to make work

I was in northern Mexico back in 1987 and they still used glass bottle for soda there. A soda with the bottle cost twice the price of just the soda. To buy just the soda, you could either give them an empty bottle and then take a buy a full bottle that you could take with you or buy a full bottle, drink it in the store and give them back the empty bottle.

For the shulkers of cobble and coarse dirt, I’d say go for 2-3 diamond blocks per… i think you’re way under pricing them at 1! And then for respawn anchors id do 8 instead of 4. The rest seems pretty well priced!

i wonder as i have never tried it but i know you can fill water buckets with a dispenser i think. you probably cant but i wonder if you can use a dispenser to click a full cauldron to get a bucket of lava. if you cant i think they should totally make that a thing then you could use dripstone to fill the cauldron and a comparator to see when its full then auto fill a bucket. it would make getting and using them way more accessible/convenient. sounds like something they should make available. as i am sure if its not in the game Mojang is totally reading this so maybe soon.

A building idea would be an employment office near the permit building. It can give the Hermit a random job and they have to build the building for that job. Jobs can be like sheriff, deputy, lawyer, permit enforcement, black market owner, dog catcher, banker, etc.
