if you still get the occasional glow ink sak even after lighting things up, just put a hopper directly in front of your unload station pointing into nothing and put a glow ink sack in each slot. that way it'll take 5 stacks before it breaks anything. then you have 5 stacks of glow ink. an actual filter would work too, but realistically this might last all season.

or just put an item filter for slime going into the crafter and have the glow ink sacks go into an overflow chest

I agree. For the simplicity of the solution and the length of time of the season and the speed at which ink sacks happen, your solution is perfect. Anything further would be overkill by definition

Shulker shell farms always seem to be the most daunting kind of farm to build.

it's cause it feels like a monumental moment for any world. it takes a resource that's a major pain to get into something that's basically worthless

The hardest part is getting a shulker into place. They do see you sometimes even with invis potions. But once that part is done, it is worth it.

Such a cool shulker farm, it was so satisfying to see it working! With the permits - after watching several Neighbors' perspectives - you don't need to get the permits from Scar. Collective items need to be sold in the same place - but the same person/entity (ie the Neighborhood) doesn't have to be the sole holder. Working cooperatively with Scar is an option, as is competitive but within the same locale.

I like the cherry blossom sapplings though. Last time I saw that I thought it was a good idea and have done that in my world.

@@shuckLedurkins yea. I like the darker branch contrast that the sappling gives off. Though the dead bush does look good, I have used it quite a lot with other leaves prior.

@@FunkiePnay3 yeah and with trees in real life you don’t normally see pigments in the wood or branches, it just helps give off the effect of a tiny tree rather than a compressed tree

Another direction you could deal with Scar and the terracotta permits would be to have ALL of you trade your permits to Scar for half profit. Scar will have to gather all that terracotta himself, so offer him terracotta for favors to save him some time.

Don’t forget your base is at spawn, so you should put a building with respawn kits or something

It might be funny to top Zed's death loop record last year but with some unsuspecting hermit at spawn. Since his base is at spawn he could build something interesting to do it. Even if it's just a minor death loop. The first time you spawn there something senses it and opens up a hole in the ground to fall. Then immediately closes for the next step. Once they have died once pull away the blocks at the bottom they splatted on revealing spikes. Maybe after sensing the 2nd death flooding the little fall pit with lava for another quick easy type of death. Not too long a death loop but just enough to be funny in someone's video.

I think it’s because they have so much at their bases they don’t need respawn kits. Most of the hermits don’t wear armor regularly anyway.

Why don’t you make an item filter for your slime farm? Quick and easy way to make sure only slime balls are going into the crafter.

To fix the slime farm ink sac problem, I would just add a filter to put anything that isn't slime in a chest or destroy it.

you may also be able to fix the issue with a item filter with glow inks that sypons out any ink befor it reachs the crafter

17:42 you have a hole in your scaffolding, that shulker (top left) should not have been able to open ^^; Also, replacing the powder snow with a cobweb should work. Cobwebs kill the horizontal momentum almost instantly.

I also have this farm in my world, sometimes shulkers stick to the underside of the top slab layer and open into the scaffolding. no idea why.

Why not do a simple auto sorter just for the slim balls before it loads into the auto crafter. burn off rest or save to different chest.

Imagine how crazy it’d be to be able to hold shulker boxes inside of shulker boxes… If you do the math, I think it’s unlimited amount of inventory space. 36 inventory spots with 64 shulker boxes that have 64 shulker boxes that have 64 shulker boxes in them with 64 shulker boxes that have 64 shulker boxes & so on 😭😭😭😂

1.20.5 they fixed the armor stands breaking issue, but right now Hermitcraft server isn’t running 1.20.5 yet. In my farms after i got a barrel full of shulkers full of shulker shells i actually disassemble my farms, cause how you gonna use that many shells. Lol. I wonder when this farm like the stacking raid farms will get nerfed?

Stacking raids are gone in 1.21 so far, unless mojank revert the change

@@butterfly-fy3wz Even if they revert only part of it, those farms are still broken, and they won't go back to the current mechanics. The break is intentional (or at least very welcome to them), and people have called for something like it for a very long time.

I doubt they will get nerfed, they might, but after all Mojang intentionally added the Shulker duplication mechanic in 1.17 and also intentionally reintroduced armor stands being invincible to only Shulker bullets in 1.20.5 to allow some shulker farms to exist. So for now, I doubt they're going to outright slow them down or break them

But technically the permit rules say the collective items are supposed to be sold together so if they split into groups they all in violation and if they do it should end up quite hilarious. Remember the hermits are all friends just having fun and being silly
