Starting a 1923 Model T tractor

Bud starts his 1923 Ford tractor conversion that he has had since the 1940's. Bud purchased the tractor, partially built, and finished building it to make it his first tractor.

Great stuff. I had an old neighbor named Shelby he would be over 100 now that took a model T engine transmission and the frame and turned it into a power plant for running a chopper mixer for making Hog food. It was a wreck when he got it. Farmers can make almost anything out of what others think of as junk. It started just as easy.

Is the buzzing sound you can hear right after throwing the switch, the sound of the trembler ignition?

Yes it is. It is the sound of the points, on top of each coil, rapidly opening and closing.
