Love the look of the high end candle! I would recommend putting a sticker with your name and way to purchase on the bottom of the jar so if they toss the dust cover it’s easy to find.

This is an awesome video, with lots of wonderful ideas for branding. Branding is the single most important step in making any product you choose. You can't put a finer point on it! This is something you have to get right out the gate. I know I spent months picking everything from my logo to my colors and mission statement. Danny gives you excellent tips, I hope your all paying attention!

Danny, I've never seen your channel before, but let me tell you, I am a new subscriber! I have been making middle of the market, as I like to say, candles for a while and I find it to be kind of a Zen thing, LOL! YOU cracked me up and had some brilliant advice! I think it is tough for a lot of people to price their candles in the "luxury" price point, and that is a confidence issue as well. However, what I loved about your video was that you just left out the emotion and gave just the facts and that is what is required. I am going to rethink my approach and try some of your suggestions. Oh, and a tip from someone whose made a lot of candle mistakes, you may want to consider always measuring your f.o. in a glass container, especially if you are using any pure e.o.'s. F.O.'s and E.O.'s can melt through plastic and there goes a lot of $ all over your counter. 😒. Thank you so much, loved, loved your video! 👍😉

Thanks so much! Really appreciate your comment and your feedback! I like to say “know your worth” but at the end of the day just comes down to confidence for sure. I’ve also invested in a glass measuring cup since this video

I use dust covers on mine that are seed paper.. The customer can use the jar after the candle is fully burned, put the dust cover at the bottom, fill with soil, and grow beautiful flowers.. It's a great added value..
