🇯🇲 I've seen numerous videos of construction in Africa and I'm amaze & concern how very little steel is part of the structures. Except for the pillars, slabs & beltings there are no internal steel. In most cases the block-pockets (holes inside the blocks) are left empty (without concrete & steel) so the structure appears strong but is compromised from the very start. All concrete crack over time, so it's the steel within that suppose to prevent lateral movements.....this is basic physics.

Great opportunity there boss. To come and sell the concepts in Africa. You can come and start a business that can offer quality control services. Or you can start a business to educate people on structural integrity and I am sure governments would love your idea. That is why I am constantly saying there are plenty of of opportunities in Africa. Have you heard of the Sentinel People on the island of India? These people have never had any interaction with people. Governments have decided to leave them alone. But what is very interesting is that these people do not know how to make fire. So the fire they have they have been keeping it burning fir many years. The day this fire is going to go dead they are doomed. So if I could have an opportunity to visit them I wouldd sell them the idea of making fire. I wouldn't be blaming them for failing to make a fire. I think I would be exchanging cattle with my fire....

For interlocking blocks we do 1 bag of cement + 4 wheelbarrows. But we deep them in water for curing.

We do not add any chemicals, although some people use a chemical called hardener.
