How do y'all find vendors to supply your store? Do you buy bulk and mark it up? I would really like to know how to start up a feed store.

Once you buy the property and create the LLC and get all your sales licenses, you have to find the vendors near you or that you would like to try and use. You have to apply, you can be blocked by radius in all brands if your to close to other stores.

Not that I know of, We pay up front, before we got the feed. There is no money in feed and its perishable. abou 60 cents to a dollar per bag, thats all, that is why we had many other things in the store that customers needed as well, supplies, boutique, fresh local meat, beer, dog food...
