My theory is that Layla suffers from some sort of Mania or possibly borderline pd. Her decisions aren’t just plain impulsive anymore, she changes her mind about lovers every week, starts random businesses, adopts more kids even though she barely spends time with the ones she has… She truly feels like someone mentally unstable, she kidnapped her love interest’s life for goodness sake! (Now ex-love interest of course). She cannot stick to her choices and while I absolutely love the chaos she causes, she’s definitely not the most mentally healthy person.

I started doing the spin the wheel challenge and in my first few days of doing this my sim: Got 100,000 simoleons as starting money Moved to tamarang as her starting place Had a one night stand and got pregnant Adopted a child Adopted a baby (all three kids happened within 48 sim hours of each other) Became a scientist Quit her job as a scientist Got plastic surgery Had public whoohoo with Wolfgang Wilder Moved to the city Started a business (bakery) got pregnant with twins by Geoffrey Landgraab Is now down to 18,000 from the original 100,000

Haha you got lucky, I ended up starting with 1k and essentially have been doing a bit of rags to riches style gameplay. Luckily I’ve only had to adopt 2 babies, but I swear I keep rolling for the most expensive things!

I think Layla is having a quartre life crisis. Like she wed really early, has a lot of kids with a guy she met through a blind date and absolutely adores her, her work is overwelming, her household and everything screams to get her attention. She is clearly starting to pannic, which leads to her bad decissions and her questioning her life, like is this what i want? (which leads to her sidehussle, a random vet, infedelity, becoming a mermaid)

I think it's totally fine that you've done that that you've chose this new guy over Caleb because first of all it's your game and you should play as you like so it was your decision and it's totally okay. secondly sometimes it's a good thing to change a gameplay cardinally because all the same things start to bore you eventually. and thirdly Caleb did not deserve Layla at all I wish him happiness with his children lol and the last thing to add is that I absolutely love your series I find them the most unique and currently these are my favourite the sims 4 let's play series on youtube! (sorry if you've found any mistakes English is not my native language)

Uk they kidnapped Lily in the beginning because 1) Caleb didn’t like vector & 2)to have someone to feed on at Will if needed & I feel like Layla went along with it cause she had already cheated on Caleb n probably willing to w.e get on his good side n now they divorced Lily just a reminder of her failures in life, like she couldn’t be with Vector cause of Lily, then she only went along with the kidnap for Caleb n she don’t even have Caleb anymore buh Lily still there n she dk what to do her, so she juss took out her anger on her😭unfortunately (cause Caleb was the one who put her in the basement in the first place)

I’m fairly certain that those are still his kids. Even if his wife had them as science babies. Myb they should’ve been adopted or some for game mechanics to recognize it, but that’s kind of an odd thing to say that those aren’t his just bc of that. And then have him look after his new partner’s kids.
