can you really keep a saltwater fish with no filter in that small of a vessel? cool project either way. i like the bonsai juniper in the bowl see at the start of the video a lot too

Its too small for fish if it was a 4-5 galon bowl he could probably put a few small fish in

I don't think it's a good idea to keep them in such a small tank, that's why I'm gonna keep it low tech with just plants... Maybe a lil snail. The Japanese profiles on IG that I mention ... They do keep fish with the only exception that they use an air pump... They get a lot of criticism for it though. I'll see what happens... Thank you for your comment!

If its at least 20 gallons you can do cardinalfish, I see a lot of the low filter & mangrove tanks use them a lot and they're quite pretty up close.
