"Ok"? Why is it just ok?
@craby64493 ай бұрын
@@calliew311 english is not my 1st language, so i couldn't think of any good words about it. What i ment for 'ok' is good enough to keep vcs very well with low maintenance, and they will thrive in that tank. Well because there so so many terrible tank builds for vcs in the internet which i won't say 'ok' so i said i will say 'ok' for this one. Many plants so it looks good for human is not important, and huge space is also not that important if you give them a right setting, But the build in this video gave them a right setting so it's 'ok' I guess it gave them a huge space for a bouns so i could have said some better words but couldn't though about anything better to say

I had Christmas Moss in my old 29 gallon. Started out with a few chunks I placed at the bottom of the uplift tubes for the under gravel filter. A good eight months later not only were the uplift tubes covered, but most of the back of the tank too. Stuff grows like wild once it gets established. I keep Shubunkins now in a 40 breeder and they eat it all, so no more moss

That's an amazing paludarium! It's also great to see the progress in the same video. Usually the creators are not patient and the video stops on day one right after the setup is finished. What are the water parameters? In my experience tap water will ruin the plants on the waterfall, but can the animals live in RO water?

That is one great looking paludarium, love it! I once had similar crabs myself, my setup didn't look half as good though. One word of feedback about the representation of the video - I find the "melody" of the narrating voice very repetitive, each section is narrated is the same up-down-up-down-down more at the end pattern. If that would sound a bit more natural, it'd make following the whole video that much more pleasant - in my view anyhow. Still, top job on the tank, hope the crabs appreciate their beautiful environment!

I was about to buy a couple of these cork bark mats in a furniture store a while ago but stopped myself because of possible chemicals in them.

Great looking! Awesome build. One question. I'm planning on something similar. Can't seem to find an answer searching through various sites. Do you reckon a paludarium needs a dedicated filter part? Or the leca and rocks etc are enough for bacterial colonies to form biological filtration?
