I love all of your art Helen, my favourites though are the two 'framed' black and white drawings ❤❤ they have a Surrealist edge to them. Reminded me of Leonora Carrington's paintings or Dali's work. Oh my hat! I just love checking my iPad in the mornings and seeing something from our Helen in Hastings, England, land in Hastings New Zealand! Whatever did we do in the days of yore?! Thank you again for a cheerful start to our dreary day. By the way…I love your bookcase and all the colours of the stuff on it. We live in a small one bedroom Ed granny flat and I have stuff everywhere…I’m not a minimalist…and it all makes me feel so happy!

It’s been so flipping miserable weather wise hasn’t it? I think it’s so common for the mojo to slip away… creativity is a funny old thing, I often feel that the fallow seasons are just part of the process…hope you find the thread to pull on soon xxx

yep...bigger... the past few months seem like a dry spell, or a season of integration as more focused pursuits have indicated a shift.... yet ii miss the creative expression... what ii have done is mostly small size & yr sense of exuberance matches an inner chord that is way bigger than anything of late.
