That's most definetly of the early to mid 70's cab. Distributor in the back is small block. Most likely a 360.

Usually a 360 has a larger 2 bbl carb i'm pretty sure thats a 318
@danielscott67874 жыл бұрын
Could be a 318. My thinking is a 360 due to it's ablity to make low RPM torque. 2 barrels on a slow RPM engines tend to make more torque as well. Just what a dump truck with a 2 speed rearend would want!
@dwaynepenner27884 жыл бұрын
Don’t think the 360 was available in the medium duties. That cab style started in 74 on the mediums and the line was discontinued in 77

@michaelchan89154 жыл бұрын
You are correct, it is a small block but not a 360. It is very likely a 318. Dodge's medium duty trucks of that era were equipped with either the 225 slant 6 or optional 318 V8 on the D500. On the D600, the 318 V8 was the standard engine, while a 361 or 413 V8 was optional. On the D700, the 361 V8 was the standard engine and the 413 V8 optional.
