Enjoy your updates, coming along well. (It’s a bevel gauge by the way) Cheers Mike

Hi, great video, the scene starting to take shape. I do appreciate the backscenes are done. A well placed bush will cover the join. However, if you encounter the situation again elsewhere the two scenes could easily be joined by creating a fill in piece, by scanning both ends and import into a photo manipulation program like photoshop and alike, if you felt like doing that...

Hi John, thanks for your comment! I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! ...Your idea about manipulating the photos is a great idea, but I don't have the material to print on or the type of printer to print it. In hindsight, I probably should have gone to the manufacturer and asked for some bespoke adjustments. I might do that in the future if I ever need to adjust or replace the backscenes!

When you first placed the bevel gauge on the level, the stock (wooden part) should be parallel to the level, not perpendicular as you showed. This allows quick and accurate transfer of to the angle to your workpiece.

Ahhh, I see. That would make more sense! ...Can you tell I've not used one before lol! Thanks for the info, I'll remember that for next time!

Hi Tony. Great video. What is the material of back scene board? And what is the thickness of the board? Thanks

Hello, it's 3mm hardboard. Shiny side for sticking down the backscene

Good video but I saw on the back scene roll "self adhesive" so why the glue?
@TonyDocksStation4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! The adhesive is not as strong as I'd like it to be, and I worry that in the future it'll release and peel. So, went with a specialy designed glue for this specific purpose. Only time will tell I guess lol!
