Gorgeous boat! And I’ve seen a lot of boats - owned & lived on boats for 30 years and I worked in a boat yard / marina office for 12 years. That boat might be one of the nicest and beautifully decorated boat I’ve ever seen! It is a fun lifestyle, but yes a lot of work. We had our catamaran in Ft Lauderdale for a bit - super fun area to explore by boat!

My wife and I love this boat so much I’ve saved this video to my “Watch Later” for future reference. I have recently retired and we currently have a President Yachts 36 Sundeck. We love our boat but it’s not quite big enough to live on, so we are on the hunt for a Hatteras 53. We love the design. It is incredible what the previous owner did with this boat in your video. So many great ideas! We will soon be following suit. 😎👉⛴️

The lazarette is a below deck storage compartment/room you would have access to from that area but that area is just called the aft deck

Yinz do/have a bunch of things that make sense to me, thanks for the tour. Galley is awesome; head even better. Induction wouldn't work for us but all-in-all, wonderful and great vibe, stem to stern. Thx for engine talk; I usually skip. Your access is SUCH a great thing. Did not know about the head head! TMI is NOT a thing in this context. Well done!

You can make it happen; But a Marina slit is hard to come by and their at a premium today in both Miami Dade County or Broward. Your friends boat is beautiful; Like how they kept it old but new. Allot $ went into that yacht to refurbish. Love when folks visit the 305 and Florida in General 2021 and now in 2022 a big 🙌 to our Florida Governor for keeping the freedom!

Actually you were sitting in an enclosed cockpit. A lazarette is a storage space typically below the deck with a hatch or sometimes a door. Basically a storage space you wouldn’t want to sit in. Sorry 35 years of boating made me comment 🤷‍♀️

Most boats don't "sanitize" what goes out, definitely not 1970s versions of boats. They macerate it and store it in a tank to be pumped out later or if out far enough at sea, pumps it out unchanged.

Just a correction. It is a boat. If you can pick it up with a crane it is a boat if not then a ship. Submarines could be picked up with cranes so boats and as a tradition they are still called boats even though to big for cranes today.

@@EatSeeTV LOL! You are not very bright are you? You only showed the fly bridge controls not the whole fly bridge so there is your first fail. Second fail is you did not show the forward deck. Third fail is these boats always came with 3 heads, 1 for each stateroom, In the video you said there is one in the guests stateroom you are staying in(which is located aft but forward of the master stateroom) and one in the master stateroom. The forward head was removed at some point to make way for the kitchen addition. You only showed the guest head. You also did not show the master stateroom…Fourth fail. Nice try on the attempted take down. Check the attitude next time landlubber.
